Hi all Jim here, had my CSL for a little while now and it needs some good brakes on it as i had it smoking round silverstone last week. Any one have an opinion on who is a good replacment for the OE stuff?
Thanks Jim |

Hi Jim and welcome Most peeps on here who track their cars have AP Racing anchors. I however "daring to be different" and saving a small fortune in the process went for this option on my SG CSL (pix below) It works an absolute treat

Most have AP which is the usual suspect Big Break Kit for the E46.
Other options also include Stop-Tech. Main difference for jump in price is whether the caliper is a one-piece mono-block design. Also the AP kit you can retain the rear caliper disc. Best Jonathan

You wont fault the k sport, just spec a better pad as the k sport pad is shit, pm me I csn get good discount on the k sport kit.
I have tried all manner of brakes over the years and the k sport should not be overlooked Last edited by shane@mbtech; 12-08-2010 at 03:20 PM. |
