Default Fallen in love with the CSL finally

I have had my CSL for almost 2 years now, and finally have bonded with it!

I always liked the ownership experience, and the sound, but sometimes wondered what all the fuss is about. It can be a right pain at times.

I decided to take it to Ring for a weekend before the warranty expires. I was then probably going to ditch the warranty and turn her into a garage queen. Not now!

The boring stuff. It was more comfy, practical and economical than I thought it would be. Took it to Koblenz and left it in auto around the town. It wasn't that bad.

And the fun! That sound! It never wore thin. The blips on down change, the air box, the Super Sprint exhaust. Perfect. The handling. Much better than I had remembered, and when it snowed it remained sure footed and predictable. Certainly well suited to the German roads.

The car also attracted a lot of attention from those in the know. Had a couple of lads in a new Lamborghini round the car saying how nice it was. I would still swap!

Anyway car back, filthy with a few stone chips, and feels less precious now. Will renew warranty and keep on driving it. Can't believe i nearly went soft

Well said Matt.

Done a couple of Destination Nurburgring events and it was at the time a real insight into how rewarding the csl can be.

nice one Matt

I have feelings like that with all my cars ... especially over winter when they dont' get used much ... think I'm going to sell etc etc , then the sun comes out & I have some great drives in them and I remember why I've kept them
