SMG software
Guys,
anyone heard of TMC Motorsport? Apparently they have this Autoflash thing that improves the gearbox in the E60 M5. One of our owners in HK tried it and he said it made the car much smoother etc. Wonder if they could improve the CSL's SMGII? I'm guessing they should as the E60's is SMGIII and ours is only SMGII. What do you think. TMC is UK based so maybe someone used them before. Maybe there is hope in our eternal slur after pussy footing. http://www.tmcmotorsport.com/TMCAutoFlash.aspx

anyone?
I'm a bit tired of the old clunky SMGII and if at all possible would like some improvements.

What is wrong with it ?
I am not following. I have 2 cars with M DCT, both have misbehaviors and glitches. If you want comfort it's best if you buy a proper AUTOMATIC (aka steptronic) and leave the sequential boxes on the side. |

there is one thing I find annoying .. the fact that after driving normally, usually with the wife on board or on traffic ridden bank holiday monday roads , clutch slur can start to take hold. Alright, a good blast at by myself soon gets the shift back to normal but it would be nice if the software wouldn't adjust to a soft setting

Whether you are driving hard or just pootling along - never lift on the accelerator when you change gear. I've never had any issues in over 46k miles driven by me.

It doesn't suddenly start slurring and its only happened a couple of times, but I have noticed a very slight difference sometimes. Its not a problem, just would prefer it if the software didn't adjust anything because it thinks it knows better |

Whether your foot is to the floor or just part throttle - don't lift
