Default Pad recommendations for AP Racing

I have the usual 6 pot AP racing upgrade on the front of my M3 and am currently running Pagid RS29's with an upgraded Performance Friction disk.

I don't do any track days, although I do a reasonable amount of fast road driving. The problem with the Pagids is I'm just not able to get enough heat into them, and they dust like crazy. I'd like to change them before winter arrives as this is my only car.

As far as I can see I have 3 choices having read around this forum:

1.) Pagid RS14's
2.) Ferrodo DS2500
3.) Performance Friction - is there an eqivalent z-rated pad for the AP racing calipers?

Would be grateful for your advice/help. I'm looking for fast road, low dust pad.

Many thanks

Ferrodo Ds2500 or Rs421 are good for road use, but dont leave them in if you ever venture on track. RS14 are quicker to life than rs29 but not best road pads. I've used pf01 on road but they are like rs29, but there may be a PFZ pad for road somewhere.

What about APs pads, No APF404. Good enough for the road & the odd track day. Give them a ring for the full part number.

thanks for the advice, do the Ferrodo DS2500 or Pagid RS421 dust less? Also price wise are they the same or is one cheaper?

thanks

apf404 are very like ds2500, may even be them repackaged. ds2500 nonissues with dust and nice early bite, not sure about rs421.

worse for dust are pf01 and ds3000, shocking.

I'm convinced, I'll order up some DS2500 next week.

Simpsons or Thorney? Which is best? Anyone else I should buy from.

thanks for your advice on this.
