Undercover
For any of you thinking of an indoor cover I’d recommend these. Have had them a few years now & never really used them, infect the Porsche one was never out of its bag until today but think I’ll use them this winter rather than a coon.

DonkCSL & I met the two guys who own the company at a show in the NEC 06/07, we’d looked at few different companies but one of them owned a CSL & said they did a specific cover to accommodate the CSL boot lid.
I’d seen covers with strips at the show & ran this idea past them... said it wasn’t possible to run the strips at an angle for some reason or other then 12mths later I seen a pic of one very similar so rang them, they said they’d made one but was expensive because of the extra man hours, told them to get me a price anyway not knowing what to expect, but rang me back with a price about £50.00 more than a standard cover from memory. |

Not sure how price compares but I got mine from specialist car covers and paid abit 350 with a BMW logo. Looks to me similar fit to those pictured

I bought a cover from BMW when I first bought my csl almost three years ago,
Like those it was tight and fitted, in blue with BMW roundel on bonnet, It was under a hundred quid at the time, let it go with the car when it sold. |

The only problem with the indoor cover is you never see the car. I just read an amusing article in an old Porsche magazine about how the Journalist had spent ages agonizing about what cover to get and how much to spend etc. In the end he went for a tailored cover, put it on and after the first time he opened the garage door missed the sight of his car in the flesh so much that he immmediately took it off and sold the cover to his best friend..
