Just a quick link to a site that will give you your BMW's specification and manufacture date.Type in the last seven characters from your chasis number:

The answer comes up below the input of your VIN almost immeadiatley.

Just bin looking at a few last digits either side of mine,are the 19" forged M wheels,our BBS ones or the stock M3 19s.

The standard m3 wheels are the forged ones. CSL wheels aren't forged.

In that case I'm surprised how many of the original owners opted for the standard M3 19s.
