Milltek broken, welding?
Last tuesday I broked in two different points the Milltek exhaust system while doing a track day at Brands....
Unfortunately I had to stop my session it was too loud The system was cracked in two ponts of the mid section near welding points. Have you heard of similar problems before? Do you think it can be safely welded or I need to change the mid section? the car is now with George at Technosport in wst London, awaitting for his feedback |

Did you buy the milltek brand new?
I would contact milltek direct to get a replacement part sent out for free - they will require a copy of the invoice or the serial number on the exhaust. I've had new backboxes twice! annoying but can't fault there customer service - ask for leigh ravey or charlie orpen

No I bought the CSL in Feb from another owner with the full Milltek.
The system was installed by Thorney motorsport, I still have the invoice from the previous owner. Maybe is worth a call to Milltek |

Yeah saw your car in there the other day......Milltek offer lifetime warranty, but TBH they are not renound for quality...their welding is well below par if you compare it to SS....
But they should give you a new one. |

Supersprint has a shocking rep for welds.

Mine did this but I bought the car with it on so I just took it off & welded it, pretty shocking really given how much the exhaust was
