Default I can't decide if to mod my csl :-)

I have seen titan exhaust last week, very nice, very light. Also I have SS lightweight backbox in my garage. And what more I'd love to have 5 point harness what means change seats and with this I think to install half roll cage for the back. but still can not decide if the CSL has to be moded or has to stay 100% stock and should get something else and leave this as it is for future gerenation :-)

i know it's not a question it's matter of personal opinion

and more to be honest the car will not be significantly faster or better with other exhaust and even ecu mod. maybe a little but still in it's league and now it's perfectly balanced for street and track really great for both. said it did not have the harness option like GT3 has. It only needs wholes in seats :/

The standard brakes are an insult and should be changed. The rest of the car
is brilliant as is.

Fit a different drivers seat, and harness.

It will feel like a totally different car to drive, its crazy the difference a seat makes.

As for exhaust, I would only fit a titanium over a ss race lightwweight race thingymajiggy if it was significantly lighter. I would never buy a ti exhaust, mine came fitted with one, it was rediculously light. Never weighed it compared to a SS though.

Brakes- I reckon uprated pads, hoses and fluid will be more than enough for road and light track use.

Suspension- after driving my standard CSL @ anglesey, I felt the suspension was good but lacked enough adjustablity, and on that day the suspension showed weakness before standard brakes did.

But I probably drive completely different to you.

My advice to everyone is to experiment yourself and not listen too much to others opinions.

One of the best sounding csl I heard was 100 cell race cats with standard back box, and standard centre section. Sounded awesome.

Horses for courses. If you're using it on the road then frankly nothing needs changing (do people really drive hard enough on the road to push the brakes?)

if its track thats a different matter

I changed brakes, suspension, wheels and added a half-cage and harnesses.

i did change the exhaust but that was because I didn't like the one my car came with and its condition was pretty ropey.

All done with the intention that it can all be put back to standard if need be.

If you are crazy with lap times then change everything except engine..

If you are simply enjoy track driving keep it oem and you will love it...

for pure track use I have Radical SR3 so that's not the point to build a track or race car. Just I love the 5 point harness for my better safety because you never know. My CSL is driven only on street and Nordschleife, no short race tracks etc.

Safety mainly becuase of the Ring. Exhaust because I like the idea to save roughly 20kg on the titan exhaust. Don't think to change suspension at all, expect top mount to have the ability to adjust camber easier and better.

I worry that the TI exhaust may be too noisy as I drive the car to Ring and back couple times a year (700km one way) and alpen passes too (round 2000km one trip). I also worry that once the cage is installed i have to drill wholes to the car and I'm not comfortable with this idea
