Default Ring + rain = crash

Never seen this one before.

I have only done a handful of laps @ the ring, most of which where wet, and fuch me they were slippy. And this vid proves it. FFwd to 50 secs.

It's what usually happens when you bump curbs in the wet relaying on "QUATTRO" to get you out of trouble

nasty... it looks like aquaplaning caused loss of traction to me?

he was driving way too fast for coditions anyway...

I may be wrong but I believe that was Jon Reeves, and I believe it got complicated when the hire car company found a ring ticket in the car post crash...

T$ and I did the Ring in the snow on Cups ffs ! Whassa marra wiv yers ?? ... we did keep off the kerbs though .... and the throttle in places !




In those conditions for me its familiarisation laps only, just taking the opportunity to look at the turn in points and apexes more closely than when you giving it the beans. To spank it like that is just plain daft.
