Swap front seat left <-> right

Sorry for my slight lack of english skillz

I'm wondering if the cloth-alcantara-cover-part (can't find the correct english term, sorry) on both the front seats are identical making it possible to swap between left and right front seats. The seat cloth/alcantara is still in great nick but since my car has done 90000 km I thought it'd be a good idea to swap sides in time before the driver side gets visibly worn.

Obviously the seats themselves are different with the folding button and other stuff. But if the cloth/alcantaraparts can be swapped I'd like to do that.

Anyone know if this is possible?

I have never swapped but realOEM suggest seat back, lumbar support wnd back pad are identical BUT seat pad are left /right

Seat pad will be sided shim due to occupancy sensor. But the rest could be swapped no probs, seats removal takes 5 mins.

is occupancy sensor just an easy swiotch then Lawsy? (funnily my passenger seat hasnt seen much action apart form NorthernJim wetting himself at Spa)

Occupancy sensor is only lightly glued in place on the sponge and can be removed easily yes.

Any starter hints on how to remove?

As k said, pretty easily sorted, trim work can be quite fiddly, one of those things you either find easy or hard

I personally love trim work.

5 mins to remove the seats

4 bolts per seat and a couple of electric plugs, lay a towel over your kick panel to avoid scratches when removing seats.

Lift the seats out, I lift them out with one hand so not difficult
