Default Geo set up for KWV3..

Morning all

Does anyone have to hand the Geo set up for fast road and track with KWV3 and running 265 35 18's all round?

I have standard top mounts so will get about -2 deg neg on the front i'm guessing? what do ppl run at the back -1? ish

the needs to be drivable on the road, but i don't do many miles.

Thanks in advance

I'm not sure that you'll be able to get -2 degrees of camber on the fronts with standard top mounts and you may well need more than that to run 265 fronts.

There is a suspension setup sticky for KW Clubsport in the technical section. IIRC, although KWV3 have slightly fewer setting 'points' (as well as softer spring rates) the guide should at least provide you with a good starter point at which to set them.

i ran 265/35/18 fronts on any camber but only because my offset was around et34

i am not sure you will clear the KWV3 springs with a high offset so if your rims are more like et30 then the tyre does start to get pretty close to the wheel arch on around -2 camber especially if setting are run soft

I think from memory the most Simpsons could get on my standard top mounts (and standard suspension) was -1.5 Camber on the front

Great thanks Rob, what i am hoping is that someone may have some Geo settings also, i.e Camber, caster etc...I am running TD 18's at the mo that i bought off Lawsey, i am not sure of the off set but they do not rub with std struts with the most amount of negative camber that is available.

maybe they will rub with the KW's if i don't change the top mounts?

Thanks Shim i'm hoping they are ET34's then, how do i tell? i cant see it written anywhere, most of the markings on the rims are full of paint. might be on the inside of the rim, but they are on the car so cant tell.

Thinking about it, Shane ran these wheels on his car so i am hoping that they will be ok with the after market KWv3's. Perhaps he will be along soon and can confirm, Shane?
