Default Good Will has changed

BMW will no longer fix BMWs that are 6 years old with good will claims
it changed in March 2010 .

Looks like the BMW warranty is the way to go if your car is under 60,000 Miles

Whats your thoughts on this should bmw do good will on well looked after cars with low miles ?

They have to stop eventually or they'll be losing money on ancient bangers. CSLs were all built around 7 years ago now!

I agree with Nathan.

Although it could be argued that low miles examples have placed less wear on certain components; it is also the case that many components will be more affected by their material age rather than mileage and will have degraded over time.

They're hardly 'new' cars anymore sadly

I have heard that if your car is just out of warranty you still have a good shot at a goodwill claim if you are a customer, however dealers are getting goodwill claims thrown back at them by bmw ( not talking about these clapped out 7 year old csls, just beemers in general)

I'm just glad there are reasonably priced specialists around like Simpson's. I've saved quite a few bucks over the last 2 years not having warranty. It's building a nice war chest for anything required in the future.
