Question Changing SMG Paddles

Quick question: Changing SMG paddles tonight, do i need to take steering wheel off or will i be able to slide others on from behind wheel?

Well theres Duncans way and everyone elses way.

No need to remove the steering wheel, simply remove the 2 torx screws and replace with new paddles. Instructions Here

I bought some AC Schnitzer carbon paddles yonks ago and never got round to fitting them... just taken the old ones off and ref those instructions would comment:

- It was a Torx T15 for me.
- There is only a few mm of thread holding them in, I used some pliers to pull them out once unscrewed.

Installation Guide for SMG Paddles
Tools required: Torx T-20
Time required: +/- 5 minutes
1.) Original OEM Paddles

2.) Look behind the steering wheel, you will find the screw that holds the paddles to the
steering wheel. Use Torx T-20 to take the screw out

3.) You will see a spring sticking out from the steering wheel.

4.) Put Paddles on proper position and put the screw back in using Torx T-20

5.) Repeat for the left side. You are done!
