Can someone tell me please, what is a bush limiter kit (I know something is give away in the name!!). I have only recently heard of them, but don't know how they work, fit or perform. Where can you buy them, and how much? Any info would be appreciated.

Turner Motorsport bush limiting kit.
£85.00 (Exc. VAT )
The Turner Motorsport bush limiting kit is the most cost effective way of reducing the unwanted movement in the rear trailing arms of your car. By using the original bush and fitting these limiters toe movement under cornering, braking, and accelerating is reduced giving the car more grip and driver feel and confidence. This is the ideal compromise solution for road and occasional track use where the spherical joint version would be too harsh.

Powerflex do the same job for £45

Right! I see now how this would work! Do you use standard bushes with this kit Mark? I was going to fit Polyurethane bushes to the RTAs. I think the Poly bushes have a bigger collar to, in effect, act the same as this limiter kit. Is that what you meant by powerflex doing the same job, or did you mean they produce a limiter kit too?

There are more and more small simple design items like this appearing on the market. My mate has a small engineering shop, I think I will try and talk him into making some bits and pieces. He could definately make a few quid!!

the powerflex bush has a collar on the bush so they do the same job for less money

I ordered a set of Powerflex bushes earlier Mark. Also ordered a rear strut brace. Looking forward to getting it all done and set up. Should be a big difference. Tyres are arriving next week as well.

There is a guy on E bay selling them just now for £22.99 plus £10 postage. They aren't a big brand name or fancy to look at, but I can't see why they wouldn't serve the purpose they are made for? At the end of the day they are only bridging the gap between the top mounts? I will let you know how I get on.

Just Ordered the Turner Motorsport bush limiting kit, From Simpson Motorsport the Lads there were very helpful!
Any of you Guys who have fitted these could you give me some advice on what needs to be done as in Ireland don't have anyone who specialises in it in Ireland and My Main BMW Dealer hasn't a Clue!
So just a few pointers regards Removing , installing and Re alignment!
