Default Flywheel / Clutch

Hi,

Registered a while ago first post, so hi to all members.

Anybody here running anything other than the Dual Mass Flywheel
and SAC clutch ?

I was just seeing if anybody had overcome the standard ECU/
Dual Mass Flywheel issues ? as the engine response that can be gained
by running a lighter flywheel on these engines is worth having.

Have a Dual Mass Flywheel and uprated pressure plate/clutch but
would like to shave some weight of the flywheel without having
ECU/SMG issues which are the common known problems.

Anything to remove the SMG 'slur' which is still slightly
detectable even with the SMG Sofware upgrade.

Those members that Track their cars, what have you done with regards
the oil temp ? Larger Oil cooler, tandem oil cooler, heat exchanger ?

Be interesting to know who has done what to help keep their oil temp down ?

Regards,

The Gorilla.
