Roll Cage
Hi,
Does anybody know if there is a Multipoint Weld in Chromoloy Cage, available for a E46 Coupe ? Loads of CDS and a few T45 but can not find Chromoloy for a E46 2 door ? Regards, The Gorilla. |

We use a combination of chromoly, T45 and 4130 in our cages, spec of exact lengths is up to you, but we will be releasing our own cages as a sel;f fit kit from end jan for mail order.

Thorney - I thought 4130 was chromoly rather than a seperate material as you have listed, unless you meant CDS, T45 and 4130?
Mr Gorilla - Andy Robinson Race Cars will be able to do you a full 4130 one if you desire: http://www.robinson-race-cars.co.uk/ Heard nothing but good things about them. |

Hi,
Nathan- Thanks for that, although I did speak with them about a year ago on a space frame Nickel/Chromoly front end for a C36. Their Basingstoke location is good for the Primate as well . Regards, The Gorilla. |

a bit off topic but can you recommend a cage that is bolt in that has minimal impact on the car if it removed.

All of them will need some small plates welding in to stop them punching through the floor in the event of a roll but with the carpet back over no one would be able to tell that unless looking deeper than a casual inspection.
I think that the Safety Devices one John sells (or used to sell?) is as good as it gets for a bolt in, the weichers one is also good but worth checking what needs doing to it as I believe Shirmer makes a few mods to them before fitting and you need to specify a specific CSL fitment if you want to retain the rear side carbon panels from memory (was speaking to a dutch guy in the 'ring car park as he'd had one fitted to his). |

We supp,y a couple of bolt in cages but not a big fan unless you 'know' its not going to be raced. We do a variety of materials and tube guages.
