CSL sits lower on drivers side
Only noticed it tonight when putting cesil in garage, but looking at the car from the back it sits lower on the drivers side. The gap between rear wheel and arch is bigger on the passenger side. Is this normal?

Have you checked the rear springs that one or more isn't broken? CSL's just love eating springs even if they don't move

no not checked that mate. I don't think it used to be like it, but have recently had the rear subframe replaced (BMW). I must get it sorted though - it's playing havoc with my OCD

Jack it up and pull the rear wheels off, very common so best to check.
Though if you think this is new from having the subframe done that might point to something else I guess ??? |

MCSL, I think that they all do it. I had mine in and out of the garage several times as I only noticed it after five years of ownership (perhaps it gets worse over time). Anyway after plenty of toing and froing they changed the springs but it made very little difference.
I forget what the acceptable difference is although I was told at the time. Best not to look at it Pip |

Cheers Pip. Yeah, i only recently noticed it... i'd say it's lower on the drivers side by 10-20mm at a guess. It's torture for my OCD

Seems to be a m3 trait. Had the same thing on the e36 m3. Can't remember the reason, but they are designed as such. Mine is like that too and I just installed Kw v3's
