Default cups in the wet?

Got a track day on Sunday and it could very well be wet. What are people's thoughts on running cups or is it a waste of time?

The way I look at it is this. Wear cups, if it rains very hard stay indoors, if it rains, go out carefully (if you have gripper tyres you just come off faster), if it's wet Cups need to be driven hard to get temps up then they will grip as long as there is not deep standing water, if it's dry WIN

Good luck :-/ I'll look for the breaking Csl ad in parts for sale !!!

I can't believe how toss cups are for everyday driving. I was on Vredestein settantas and they were much better everyday tyres. Cups are so focused they are such a compromise. Pilot Super sports for me next.

I honestly feel like the car even on road is so much better with cups, it seems to suit the car especially OeM sizes for road use. I dislike driving it with normal tyres tbh.

I use eagle f1's in the wet on track. It makes the cups feel like driving on ice so it makes me uncomfortable
