I can see how the Porsche driver could get in to that position, but really he wasn't racing so should have waited rather than jumping at the gap.
My hat goes off to the Suzuki Swift driver though following the silver Peugeot, he missed him about three times! |

I have only been to TF when it is too busy to be enjoyable and have seen some kind of incident on every other lap, but if the Ring were closer, I'm sure there are times on the track (near the end of summer days during the week) when it's quiet and you can get some good laps in.
Personally, I see no problem with a bunch of lunatics in their hopped-up 328s trying to out-drift each other on a bank holiday weekend. It reminds me of my home town of Leicester. |

I am sure the week day evenings they do are awesome when its quiet.
I have done a few in the past but family and work commitments mean I can't be out there quite like I used to be with the track e36 M3 stored 5 mins away in Wimbach

TF ok later in the year, but you do run the risk of colder / wetter conditions.
Generally they are ok cold but dry and sunny days and much quieter, times are a bit hit and miss, with generally it not being open all day, plus they change like the wind. Summer months / banks hols or weekends when it's open all day = avoid TF at all costs as full of Do like the freedom of the old TF days but when it's quieter and you can actually get proper hot laps in.
