Who do you insure your CSL with?
Hi guys
Just bought a CSL yesterday, paid a little bit more than I should have, but now have a minter! Next step is to insure. Any advise where to go? Ideally looking to add my 27 year old son on the insurance too, but if that's cost prohibitive ill leave him off. Thanks |

Welcome to the register Matt, myself and quite a few others on here insure our cars through Competition Car Insurance, which includes 5 trackdays per year and its with Aviva. If your not going to be doing any trackdays it probably not worth it to you.

Hi Matt, I don't do any track days & I'm with Admiral on a multi-car policy - cost came in pretty competitive with that & reduced a bit in the 2nd year.

How does the classic policy work?
Mileage, no claims (do you lose what you have) Mine will be getting parked up, again, after the trip so really don't need cci. I would like the option to get out for the odd weekend. |

You do not need NCD. They will 'hold' your NCD and keep it live, ie it will not expire after 2 years of no usage. If you move to another policy that requires it, they will update the NCD (ie add the no of years you have been claim free with them) and give this to your new insurer. Mileage is agreed as part of the terms - mine is 4000 miles pa. European breakdown cover is included in mine. The only question I have is in obtaining a valuation to be covered under the 'agreed value' option. |

Also Admiral on a multi car policy. From memory it was about £500 with 10 years no claims.
