Changing seats - Sacrilege?
Just bought a pair of recaro touring car style seats for the race car, but considering using them in the CSL to reduce the wear on the orginals and for a bit of extra comfort, and for the harness loops for the trip.
However, is it sacrilege to change the inteior on a cesil. Kinda feels like it would be a bit wrong to change anything and to "muck around' with it. Thoughts? |

I put a bucket seat in mine.
Just be sure and keep the original ones. |

Have you got a picture of yours in situ?
think these may look slightly out of place, butits more about having the harnesses in properly and being safe and comfortable. |

they do look a bit aggressive and may not work with seatbelts due to the high sides
i have a Recaro Profi SPG XL on drivers side and love it

not sure I would use those on a road car, "eared" seats, reduced visibility and no longer allowed on tourist days at the ring
profi spg's are awesome, |

They are primarily for the race car so needed head protection. I have the schroth quick release harnesses in the csl so no worry about seat belts. But if they aren't allowed at the ring that's made the decision for me

Think I asked this question before but I cant quite remember, Shimmy you are pretty tall. With the Profi SPG does the seat sit any lower or indeed does it sit a little higher ???
My standard seat is in its lowest position and whilst it is fine I would like to sit a little lower... |
