Default What spares to carry ?

Bearing in mind I'm used to touring europe etc in a 40 year old car whcih means I tend to carry a full tool kit and lots of spares ....

so with the CSL, are there any specific spares I should carry in the car ? Not always just the ones I can fit myself, but those that are useful if you get towed to the nearest garage etc and so you don't have to wait for parts to arrive.

I've read about the salmon relay ... although not sure what part number it is or what it does. Anything else worth carrying , eg fan belt, fuses, bulbs ?

For touring, think I'd like to carry either a space saver ( already found details of what to order ) or maybe one of these kits ( not sure if they work ) :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-AND-VA...item20b21bd8de

Also a small tool kit incl pliers & wheel brace & scissor jack.

A spare ignition coil or two and yes a salmon coloured relay for the SMG,I always take a spare wheel and tyre just incase of a puncture as you don't want to be mucking around with that tyre gunk stuff.

Don't know about part numbers, but best bet is to take along a giraffe.

Default spares/tools to carry

not wanting to be a burden on the tour i'm taking every precaution

2 spare wheels front and rear with fresh cups
axle stand/trolley jack
castrol/wheel brace/torque wrench

hadn't considered coils/relay but will look into it
