What I meant to say

Yes, the M3 does attract the boy racers in the uk who not necessarily can afford to maintain them & then need to offload them. Next step up the ladder possibly a csl. It's just that I know a lot of people who buy E45 M3s & then struggle to pay for basic maintenance, but they can say I own a M3

totally agree and maintenance is already cheaper than the porkie when you have a major service. Thats probably why they tend to avoid the Porkies. Even myself I find that when I factor in service costs etc. (yes, I'm a cheap bastard and penny pincher too) I'm not totally hot for the porkies, although I always buy my cars outright and have no issues in maintaining anything this side of a lambo. Things like Pagani are out of my league and comfort zone though.

When majority are in strong hands, the price will certainly reflect this BMW master-piece. Its a truly modern day E30 M3. Still pretty dame rapid!

Ha ha...true! Just thought it was interesting that after a long winter with very little chat about prospective values, there are suddenly multiple threads/articles in various places...the moment the sun comes out!
