Anyone encountered one on a track day yet ?

But I guess inevitably it will be roughly the same speed and times more dependent on the state of the driver and the tyres etc

look - its quicker than the cesil. We all need to go out and get one of these shoe boxes. Also its a proper M car.

Yep... we'll all rush out to chop in our Cecils and buy a M135i each to support BMW (AG) and their quest in producing more amazing "M"arketing products

I'd say a stock csl is quicker over a lap than a stock M135, the brakes in the M135 are better on track,bigger disc's and 4 pots.

There's not a lot in it tho from where I was sat. Put cups on the shopper and then see what happens......

The stock brakes of the M135i are 320mm.
There is also an upgrade package to have 340mm discs (one piece).
Therefore, the OEM CSL brake discs are bigger, single pot though.

I drove the M135i x-drive of a friend of mine last Sunday at the Blackforest.
It's very easy to drive.
I made the brakes purple. It is quick but utterly boring.
It's no way quicker than a CSL or M3 E46 or ... or ...
