He made a cracking job of them. Got a mate who's pretty handy with an airbrush so looking to get him to sort the logos. Did Bob the Brush use heat resistant paint for the logos or doesn't it matter?

he used a 2 pack paint, I had one slight issue after 2 days, i put some acid on to clean the wheels, strong stuff and I noticed it started lifting the yellow on a letter, washed it straight off and touched it up, Ive never used the stuff again and they are still all good, even after numerous track days. No discolouration or lifting

Cheers for the info. I'll stick to Bilberry for cleaning the wheels then

The guy who's painting the logos is going to do it with a brush so I'm trying to find a suitable paint to do them. Was thinking hammerite smooth or this stuff
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/s...Id_165675#dtab Anyone suggest something suitable? Cheers D |

My mate did them. They were brush painted with Hammerite smooth. He said they were a bit tricky due to the slightly bevelled edge to the letters and the Hammerite was quite hard to work with as it's quite thick. He did 4 thin coats leaving a day between each coat to dry.
