Lots of misguided (and mis-informed as well as opinionated) people posting on there.

There is an awful lot of judging the book by its cover on that thread, from people who've never even seen, nevermind driven, a CSL. Which is odd, as PH usually isn't like that...

The service history on both seems poor. I see they have both had their steering tightened, I did this recently on my 300SL to reduce the play, but have never heard of having to do it on a CSL. An error in translation I assume.

Just read all 14 pages...

Interesting thread on a previous csl owner disliking the csl despite posting an 8:02 ring lap.

Obviously not quick enough

He's probably upset that he sold it for £18k and it's now worth £45k - sour grapes .
