wheels
[quote=shimmy;138593]Ok, well Dave at Opentrack has coem up trumps! Book the wheel transport as you book the trackday
Wheels can be delivered to the circuit and returned to the Uk for a cost of £25 a set payable on collection at the circuit.thing is dave is only delivering to salzburg.i think a lot of us want to use our wheels at ring.

I can't see how you can do a set of tyres in on the trip unless you go drifting.
Most of it on motorway followed by some track time. Kiss off death but I'll take what's on the rims. |

Well from previous track days and experience , you can guess the current state of my tyres ! They would get me down there, but would be shagged after TD. Running on my 18" rims at moment but have spare proper CSL purest 19" rims, if that is the order of the day for this trip, other wise I will just bang a brand new set of 18" Cups onto a spare set of TD 18" wheels and keep square set up. Given state of my car, perhaps it could be the shining example of how NOT to treat such a wonderful piece of machinery !
Put me down for a set of rims Shimster/Dave. 1. Yanto 2. Shimmy 3. CraigMC 4. alexGTT 5. Pinkpanther008 6. Adem.csl 7. StinkyJIm 8. DuncanR

So after confirmation Dave will deliver tyres to Salzburg how many will now be putting tyres in back seat as most of us want them for the ring.

Read above, I have a few mm left until the canvas, once through to canvas the roads are quite straight and they should be ok to get me there
