In the morning i met shimmy on the track and he let me pass so he could hunt me down .
And it was really fun , i was faster at some corners and you at some others .
in the afternoon this was how my front cups looked like

So i fitted my BBS wheels with PS2 tyres at the front but this was good for 2 laps but after the tyres got hotter i got alot understeer .

Too bad my tyres did not last longer , after 5 o'clock the track was almost empty so a good time to do some faster laps , but after i had too go very wide at the radillion i called it a day and drove home .

I also did a passenger lap with shimmy and he is a better driver then me and the intrax is alot better then the bilstein .
Only too bad he has got the wrong color of CSL

Shimmy would sell these tyres at half price to duncanR as part worn

Other than that mattnutcsl would buy them as new ...lol

... only because you'd advertise them FOR SALE as having "about 4 mm of tread left"

I have managed to put together a couple of vids. First one is of my two fastest laps, both were in the last 45 minutes of the day and were the only two clear laps ALL DAY, honestly, and both were 2m 52.6s, beating my previous best of 2m 54.0s

Interesting points to note, first lap 95mph min speed through Eau Rouge (Radillon) which was pretty typical of my better speeds, whereas second lap minimum speed is 100mph which is a big jump. Data shows by end of th straight second faster apex lap was 0.3s up. I lost all this under braking into the first corner,

Later in the lap by B1 the second lap was up another 0.64s but then this was all lost compared to the first by the lap end. This means that just out of these two laps it may have been possible to sneak into the high 2m 51s range.

So here's is video one, enjoy and I'll post up video two tomorrow, with a bit more traffic and action.
