They look awful but looks can be deceiving. I am no expert but I thought wear was measured on disc overall thickness and then you have to take corrosion and disc eveness into consideration.

The lip on the edge looks pretty large so I'd guess they don't have much life left but the grooves look ok.

Cheers shimmy. Looks like new discs and pads then. I bought them knowing the discs would probably need replacing so I'll bite the bullet and get some. Looks like I might have a bit of fun getting the old discs off the bells!

Cheers

tbh what i wish id done first time is buy new bells to then you can mount them at your leisure and remove the others some time when you feel like it, no rush

at the end of the day theyd sell so no big waste

loads of wd40, good fitting spanners and allen keys and maybe some heat

Use snap on tools too

Before you wd40, wire brush them and get rid of the shit first

Cheers guys, I'm going to price up a pair complete with bells and as shimmy says I can remove the old ones at any time. I can always sell the spare bells. Anyone any idea how much complete discs and bells are?

I've emailed Steve for prices but will follow up with a phone call in the morning.

Anyone know how the Caliper brackets attach to hub? There are 2 threaded holes in each bracket but I only have one spare bolt as per the pic above.
Cheers
