SORRY Daniel but there is no way these are anywhere near as good as DUNLOP DZ series tyres, which cost twice as much and are on parr/comparable with Michelin CUPs. It's like saying TOYO R888 are nearly as good as Michelin CUPs. For a start, once wormed up the Dunlop DZs just go on & on gripping, lap after lap without any loss of grip what so ever
Early days for U yet with these Federalls me thinks and watch the tread wear, I'm guessing they will not last very long My part worn Dunlops so far have done 60 DRY laps of the Ring, 9 laps of Spa and three UK track days I bought them with 4 mm tread and there is still about 1.5 mm left before they become full slicks

Yeah, early days I guess but I am impressed and for the money I am not complaining. You can come out with me in august and judge for yourself.

I love a bargain too so it would be interesting to feel the Federalls working heard. Are U doing any UK TDs before then ?

I would like to a UK TD in between but the prices are so high at the moment as it is high season I guess. I wouldn't mind brands or bedford again. Which ones you doing? |
