As if 6,000,000 EURO worth of McLaren F1 GTR wasn't enough, the ACS guys rolled out this La Mans winning car just for us BMW V12 LMR

The BMW V12 LMRs CF air box is an indirect relative of out Cecil's CF air box. BMW did a case study of this race car's air box after the car won La Mans
Incidentally, both Cecil's & the V12 LMR's CF air boxes are made by the one and the very same manufacturer, for BMW

I love that. Pretty much every engine I saw over the weekend was naturally aspirated and had a stonking great carbon airbox attached. If you were ever in doubt of the engineering pedigree....not now. No gimmicks here.
