I'm still trying to decide what to do on the way down/back up.
I'm happy to tag along with the other scots to keep it easy, and the only things I want to do are go back to the eagles nest (went last year but want to show my dad it while we are so close when in salzburg) and do the 'ring and spa if possible. I went to the Porsche museum last year and had a really good lunch in the cafe/restaurant there so would definable recommend it as a lunch stop. Would it be worth going down a day early, and doing the ring Friday and meeting the other bunch of southerners at the ring for dinner in the evening?? Also, I hope you lot are bringing your kilts with you!? |

My plans are overnight ferry from Newcastle on the Fri night, probably just head straight to Munich from there as it's a fair ol drive.
Do all the "stuff" and then get the overnight ferry back from Amsterdam on the 29th. Need to work out where to stop overnight on the Tues after the track day and going to avoid the ring as i'll book another road trip for DN8. |

You dropping into Stuttgart on the Saturday Mark? We're going to hit the Porsche museum for an hour or two in the afternoon if we can get down there from Rotterdam in time

Now that Dereks dropped out, and he was my point of contact, who has booked the ferrys and what times have you booked. Looking at booking it asap.
Also wouldnt mind meeting or having a chat with some of you about tyre/brake choices as Im sick of reading through countless threads to try and find some decent info. (currently on Michelin PS2's with not a lot left in them, and standard brakes again not a huge amount left). Dont really want to shell out for cups to use once and AP's are out of my budget for the minute as I have a race car thats eating funds like no other! |
