Well got the car back today - they couldnt find anything wrong with it, apart from a few fault codes that needed clearing. Guy i spoke to haddnt ever come across the flap sticking before - obviously not that experienced then!
Anyway, took the car away - was still 50/50 with it. Anyway, after an hour of driving, sound like ive got an intermittent fault. Sometimes the flap works, other times it doesnt - it'll be working, then if you stop, turn the engine off then back on, its 50/50 if the flap will work or not. Going to try videoing it this w/e with my bullet cam for comfirmation

Bummer! hope you get it sorted soon.
Be interested to find out what the problem was. I think i will be removing my flap when i get home, seeing as there is no disadvantage to removing it. |

Well i took the car out Saturday and it sounded to be working fine all day!
Havent half used some juice though blasting it around Didnt get out in her Sunday due to the weather so more testing next weekend! I would take the flap off completely too if the car was out of warranty

When mine was at thorney's last time they found that my sensor was faulty and the flap wasn't opening fully. It wasn't an expensive fix but still a pain in the a*se.
If it as easy to remove as the guys are saying i guess you could remove it and then put it back on when it goes to the dealer???? |

I'm wondering if mines suffering the same, as sometimes it just doesnt sound as nice as it should?!
You'll think its working, but then when you start her up again you think - naaaa, cant have been working because although it sounded good before, its sounds awesome now!!! Think i'll try fitting a bullet cam under the bonnet to monitor it better

Bit of a necro-post, but mine has stopped working after my I took the CSL on its first track day at the weekend.
Should I just remove it or be a good boy and take it to the dealer? Car is under AUC warranty.
