When you say stiffer rebound do you mean adding more control? Ie make the spring extend slower (anti clockwise on the KW)?

Soft rebound provides a comfortable ride at low speeds it will have less stability at high speeds ie 100mph +
anti clockwise = softer. The rebound is easy to adjust as it it the top adjustment position on the KW's
