It may have been different having him for the full day, maybe.
lawsy, surely the whole point of forums is to tell us who he was, as then we can make decisions with more info

you dont have to slander the guy but give us a chance to avoid the muppet

Cant remember his name, he may be ok and it may have just been me. But I just got the distinct impression he did not enjoy what he was doing. My business partner said exactly the same thing as we both used him that day.

full days instruction are worth it but bloody expensive....

Just did a track day at Bedford on Saturday and used Adam Foster, 3rd last year in FPA Championship, he is hopefully one of the up and coming starts of the future. Bedford is such a good place to "give it the beans" as it has very generous run offs and very little armco ! Give him a go !

Er, he did?

Great guy though!

I'd recommend Rob Barff, talent wise he has to be one of the fastest drivers in the UK. Not expensive either.

Would also recommend doing a car control course if you want to increase confidence, something like Driver DP.

Actually, I would totally agree with Rob Barff - easily the best instructing I have ever had - he happened to be at a track day I did a few years ago & I had two sessions with him.

He didn't say much but he drove my car like no-one else had ever done before!! I then then tried to go faster & thought I would impress him again in the afternoon. He then went much faster still! The circuit he taught me at is my fave track in the UK and I raced there a year later & did ok!

My driving came on leaps and bounds after that.

I have had other instruction too but have often found having a chat with someone knowledgeable about the track can help more than having someone sat next to me.
