I've just removed my rear center console for this exact problem, child seat has caused scuffs/scratches and the sides have cracks.

I've got Bradleys rubber/plastic paint which is a very close match to oem, will be dropping the console, rear seat backs and front seat back off to a painter that I know.

I'l post up some before/after pics when the bits come back.

So my painter is busy for the next few weeks...

Sod that, I decided to tackle it myself.

I've repaired the cracks using fibre glass, stripped the existing rubberised coating, sanded down and blemishes and have coated the console in primer.

I'll get round to painting it this week, The paint is manufactured by Bradleys, colour code - Soft Montana Black N6SW

here's some pictures of the progress so far.

Great job !
I do have the same problem, as everybody . I plan to get it fix by a professionnal. Does somebody knows the OEM BMW paint number ?
Goldysingh, do you have some pictures of final result ?
I will also ask for the same job for the back of front seats...

I try to keep it as new as possible. Carbon option is not bad but not in link with the back of the seat.

My car is now near Paris and will be completely refurbished

My rear seats also had some scratches.

I am trying a solution inspired by what they have done with the front seat buckles.

Cheers,
Alex
