Half cage better for a road car I think, have a big crash on the road with a full cage and no lid and it'll hurt...

I thought long and hard about cages and ruled out FULL cage as car still is used on road and I wouldn't have front cage without lid unless the risks on track were too great. I (we) have seen and heard of bad injuries with full cages on road cars.

Thought about half cage but the idea of the cage was to save me and a passenger on track and a half cage I think in a road car with all airbags still working, modern roll over protection and pillar strength it's a bit swings a roundabouts.

If I did the ring I would have def put in a full cage as the risks are so much greater.

Done already!? Car looks awesome, they've done an excellent job by the looks of things mate and don't worry about resale, the others just haven't got big enough balls to do what you've done. The car is to be enjoyed and not to fret about whether it will sell or not later on in life, that's if you ever do sell it. However if/ when you do, a different person will buy it for a completely different reason, the way it was designed - to be driven! GL

Well modded mate - exactly how the CSL should have been from factory! Don't worry about all this resale value nonsense it's nothing that can't be undone plus somebody out there might like it exactly the way it is
