The event should not have been cancelled, it was raining! Not that hard and not much if any standing water. The main problem was the driving standards & after talking to Nick lots of people did not have wet tyres! If you haven't got the wets in the wet why even turn up on what we all knew a week in advance was gunna be wet!

The optional £10 garage fee that was demanded at signing on got me? Advertised as free garages! And even when the shut was hitting the fan and Nick had to call every for a 'chat' the last thing he mentions? Raffle tickets guys

I'm sure the event will hit the record books for worlds longest drivers briefing but on the whole we both felt it was a really poorly run event

I was a bit miffed by the £10 garage fee last year too. And didn't think they could make the drivers briefing longer than last year, sounds like they somehow managed it

Apologies for the briefing, it was a bit long.
They don't let me do it myself anymore it has to be an ARDS guy to meet the safety requirements - I'll work on sharpening it up

Bounce/Craig - What was the weather like compared to our last CSLR at Silly earlier in the year?

Definetly something that needs addressed, I think last year was just over half an hour, and the problem is it's information that is supposed to be important, and I fall asleep after 20 minutes

You last 19mins longer than I do.

They would be better recording an industry standard video, like you get at karting tracks. Would save lots of time.

The best drivers briefing is Spa. Gerard Depardieu basically says

"amusez-vous, dépasser n'importe quel côté, vous connaissez touts les drapeaux, oui? bon, amusez-vous."
