Same for me braided lines decent pads and fluid, and the standard brakes are just fine for me anyway

There should be a world of difference between standard sized kit albeit with uprated discs/pads and an ap kit. Did you ever get your car on track?

Frankly if its just road use you'd never see the benefit of APs or Alcons.

I bought the ap's before I went on track, maybe i should have done a day on track before buying ap's.

Trouble is Derek, as Curly will tell you, when you start you need APs bit then as you get better and learn to brake correctly, the BBK upgrade is less likely to always be necessary, depending on your style

Totally agree with you. I just didnt notice much difference on the road when I had pagid 19's on with the standard brakes and 29's with the AP's. . If youre not tracking the car braided hoses and uprated pads give best value for performance

Got to say on my Evo I fitted the K-Sport 8 pots and tracked the living $hite out of it.
Then bought my 22b and went along the lines of std size stuff with decent fluid, hoses, pads and disks and TBH i never had any problems.

CSL had the AP's upon purchase so can't comment on the standard set up but i took that as a nice "too have" accesory
