crikey I had to give up taking the discs off as I didn't have the right allen key for the impact screwdriver, let alone get the pesky bolts out. I'll be ordering some of those then

I have never had an issue with these, 10mm spanner iirc, allen key socket with 3/8 buzz gun(all snap-on), off in few mins. Ive done loads and never had an issue before.

10 or 11 mm maybe. mine were very corroded, only had an allen key and a spanner. did have some male hex attachments for the torque wrench but not good quality snap-on ones, so used the sharp ended allen key to do the job. think i got an e8 torx snap-on for fitting the new nuts as i was fed up with my poor tools (not that a workman blams his tools )

take out the pads and release the disc bell with the two allen key studs and the disc and bell come out at an angle with the calliper in place (you might have to make sure the pistons are in if the pads were low)

when you fit the AP bell to the PF discs use new lock bolts and only tighten to 10Nm starting at alternate sides

I have a new set of AP bolts, so I will do it as you say, but AP recomends between 15 and 20 Nm torque

there is a AP diagram somewhere (probably posted by shimmy), similar to the one on this post which states 14nm.

So, what torque should I apply?

PF disc on AP bells with AP nuts and bolts

doubt it matters tbh as 14-16 Nm is pretty loose anyway.

Try 15Nm and cross your fingers
