Curly had an overheating problem i both races so was only 100% on the pace when he had to be, short shifting for the rest. Thermostat he thinks.
Daz seemed to get used to the track for race 2 and needed an overtaking move on Curly to take the win. First big overtake would scare me! Come on TOm, when is Jags getting a car on grid? |

Yes was a good race 2 with curly, although got it sideways as I passed him on the melbourne hairpin after lap after lap of him squirting his washers and generally trying to keep me back which was superb
First race I let em get away to far to get it back as I was learning the track, awesome though loved it by the end of race 2 Good to see everyone there and looking forward to having a couple more cars in class so me and curly can have a bit more fun Hope you get the heating thing sorted mate

yes it was a great meet, good to see all the CSL boys. big thanks to wheels, shimmy for giving us a lift while my spanner man martin was consuming most of thorneys buffet.
yeh it was good fun in race 2 with daz, i was giggling to myself watching daz dancing either side of my rear bumper 4 or 5 laps and doing my best to slow him down. sorry daz i had to play joker with the windscreen washers, i was getting desperate. well done bud you deserved race 2 win. steve gill had a cracking start for once in race 2 and in the end finished with a well deserved 3rd. well done mate. big thanks to thorney and his guys for putting on a brilliant hospitality for everybody, and ive got to say john probably did the drive of the weekend. poor starting in race one but finished 2nd and had a brill drive in race 2 to finish well clear. |
