Having very recently purchased my CSL they are clearly selling, but like a bus there are none for ages and then loads come along all at once!
I would imagine the higher numbers currently for sale are in part driven by the summer months, key car selling/buying time, but possibly its a response to a levelling off on prices following significant appreciation over the last 18-24 months, and owners thinking now is the time to bail out! I've tracked the same pattern over the last few years with my Z3M Coupe. There was significant appreciation over the last few years, but I'd say in the last 6 months there has been minimal positive movement in prices. There is one thing for certain and that is prices for CSL's will continue to rise, but the rate will likely slow, possibly for a few years, before hopefully going stratospheric! |
