Steering wheel is navel lint TBH and reflects 1% of sale price if you buy from the stealers

Rear diffuser is all cf unpainted?

ML would rectify this as a matter of car prep prior to the new owner collecting.

70K for 17,000 miles seems OK given the current lunacy with csl prices.

It is such a shame that virtually all CSL's sold in 2016 and beyond will never be "driven"

Ok but what if we assume that all 5-7 owner CSLs have been on track.

Then the only diagnostic factor will be total amount of miles and if painted and if boot floor done

If miles low, boot floor is virgin, no paint work then these are distinguishing factors

Not sure if I am correct with this but that's how I think

At £70K large asking price from a leading BMW Indy that CSL needs to have all these little things resolved properly using genuine BMW parts to a very high standard prior to the Ad going live, as otherwise it makes the seller (ML) look a bit amateurish, which is very unlike them.

One can assume all he or she likes. Excellent condition & impeccable Service History is all that really matters when someone genuinely wants a great CSL to use as BMW "M" Gods intended. Low mileage does NOT guarantee either and only deludes potential buyers into false sense of security.
BTW... original paint ?!?! especially the shitty waterbased crap that chips easier than porcelain, on a 14 year old BMW Good luck with that

It might not be their car to sell, they could be selling it on a commission basis which means that any rectification is done at the owner's discretion.

Is this low mileage example worth more than a 100K example. Yes and proportionally so.

Is it priced accordingly.... It depends. It is worth what one is prepared to pay for it.

If shares/oil/China keep on going down then no.
If the world economy improves then yes

I am too inexperienced to know about rear splitters so I can't comment. The steering wheel is a matter for debate.

My mother could ruin her E46 seat in 6K miles as her clothes and the position of the seat were not optimal.
So the wheel could be rough from rings, or driving gloves.

But if we assume that we do not know if a CSL with 5 owners has been tracked or not then all we can go on is the mileage, history, chassis stress and paint.

I think water based paint or not there is a correlation between paint and usage.

ML can sell sand to the Arabs if they wish. Their reputation allows that, they have a world wide customer base and there is security when buying from them hence they can command more.
