went to the ring in a mates one a few years back. bonkers fast, brilliant GT car and effortless amount of overtaking capability

torque is just mental in any gear. serious license loser though!

as said before bit too quiet and managed for me...could not wait to get into the GT3 RS that came with us. talk about chalk and cheese cars!!

thanks for all the input.

the gen II PDK is a little on the rich side for me, so i think i will look for a 997 TT with sports chrono pack, which gives over 10 secs of over boost, IIRC? or do the manuals do that as well?

Had a Gen2 - S for a weekend, awesome weapon.

When I spent 55k on the GT3 really really had 50/50 on whether turbo route or GT3.

Very happy I ticked the GT3 box, it's a v special place to be, and learn how to drive, get the best out it, and involves you, makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. BUT as a daily, which mine was, it was beginning to get on my tits, just not a good car for shit roads, traffic or anything other than open and driving it, which is what it is all about.

The turbo would of been, cheaper and more useable as a daily, faster in most situations daily, on the autobahn to the ring, around town and on normal UK blasts point to point, and in the wet, cold and wind the turbo is far more at ease, a complete package.

On track it would toast the turbo with equally skilled drivers at the wheel, it's a track car and does its job well.
