DS2500 ruin discs. Better to go for the more expensive RS29 and have useable discs at the end of it.

agreed with graham. Ds 2500 are fine for a sub 1 tonne car but not up to job of a csl.
they will leave deposits on discs so causes juddering, they get too hot and they they crack so are junk basically. seems like a cheap thing to do up front but not once the pads have cracked half way through their life n trashed your discs. the only other pad i would look at is HAWK. Cambridge motorsport have a good range and they have a good range of pad shapes and compounds. A lot of the race bmw boys use them.
