Although I should probably mention, by rough roads, I mean Belgian roads, that might clarify a thing or two...

What spring rates and damper settings are you running?

By turning off ABS you'll just lock the wheels so I can't see that improving things.

Unless there is indeed something wrong with my ABS sensor which makes it trigger too easily.

Don't know my spring rates, they were made specifically for Nordschleife-use, so I'd reckon not too stiff. Dampers are in their half way setting.

you might have really hard springs which would make this happen more htan normal (something like 140F/70R)

I should check with Intrax what springs they have fitted. That would clarify the harsh ride as well.. How does yours ride with dampers halfway?

If there was something wrong with a wheel speed sensor you'd have a light on I think.

Mine are 120/60 and springs are hardly any more harsh than 100/50. Damper setting s don't really change the ride much at all and at half way they are at a good road setting, spring rates are where it's at.

If I were you I would get the suspsension looked at

A cracked or damaged reluctor ring can give you ABS that jumps in too early. Not common on BMW's though, I must be honest.
