Must make a mental note of this thread to put some copper slip onto my retaining bolt when I change my pads after I get home.

Hmm just thinking the same. I have not touched my rear calipers since I have had the car. I do not believe the AP rears allow for a brake sensor and have not even inspected the rear set up. I know that BMW would not change the fluid in the AP set up on my last Inspection II.

Does anyone know if they are still obliged to check the discs and pads if it is not OEM - ???

I think they would check pads but not necessarily change them or fluid.

Easy to tell when they are very low as you get a Scraping Sound

Scraping pads used to worry me but once you put new rs29 in they soon smooth over the scratches on the discs
