Default OEM CSL brakes...What are they worth?

Got my new Ap's fitted the other day so have a set of brakes laying around.
What if any, are the differences between std M3 and CSL ones. A couple of my sons friends have already asked if im going to sell how much and tbh i havn't gto a clue of there value.

What sort of prices do they go for? Discs are in good condition pads are nearly dead...

I think its only the front discs which are larger.The rear discs and all the calipers are the same as the std M3.

You may be right Shim.The only reason i thought the calipers were the same is because the part number for the pads is the same.Ill have a look on realoem at all the part numbers.

Seem to recall from somewhere that the front discs are from the E39 M5?

Just had a look and all the part numbers are the same except for front discs and carriers.

Small note but the Callipers are painted on the CSL,

rear same is standard M3
front discs and carriers bigger

Question! why would BMW put bigger discs on the front,then use the same size pads as the std M3?.Is it because bigger discs will cool quicker?

Front OEM CSL brakes are worth £400 - £500
