Default Paddle shifter not working

Has anyone experienced any problems with the paddle changers? The upshift on my CSL does not always work, downshift ok & gear change ok. It seems like its a bad contact somewhere any thoughts?

No warranty now. Have just bought the car & am thinking of getting a warranty but if its easy repair will do myself. Also want to change the paddles to carbon ones anyway.

Pictures would be brilliant if you have, Cheers

I had the same problem with my M3 SMG. Changes the paddles won't make any difference, you will need to replace the micro switches. These come as a complete unit.

Looks like Mark is your man. I think, if I remember correctly, they are about £90 from the dealer. Although it was a while ago so I could be wrong. I ended up getting a new steering wheel instead!

Have you got aftermarket paddles? If so, make sure this hasn't happened to the switches ...
