EOI - KW Competition 2 ways (incomplete kit) - 600GBP
As some of you will be aware I purchased this not long ago and have been having nothing but crap luck with it.
I've come to a point where I am think I'll just cut my losses rather pump more money into it. So this is an expression of interest at the moment. Long story short, currently the kit comprises the following: 1. One brand new driver side front assembly (less the top mount bearings - these bearings are about 32 euros each from KW - you will need 2 - one for the driver side and one for the passenger side). 2. Full rear assembly (both shocks, top spherical mounts and bottom shims that come with the kit as it's a solid bearing mount down the bottom eyelet also) - Both shocks are in fairly good condition (I would say one is as good as new), although I can tell that one shock will require a rebuild in the near future. It is fine at the moment, no leaks or anything, but compared to the other shock it is probably operating at 90% (it's losing a bit of bump at the top end of the travel). 3. Two front camber top mount (less the spherical bearings mentioned in 1. above). 4. All front and rear springs and keepers and adjusters, bump stops ect that is needed to reassemble the kit back. To complete the kit you will need the following: A. New front passenger damper (or there is the option of having the pre-existing one repaired by KW Germany - this shock is in Germany at the moment and is capable of repair at roughly half the price of a brand new unit. But the swaybar link hole was enlongated and welded, so it ain't pretty but is fine - checked by KW Germany). B. 2 new spherical bearing top mounts mentioned in 1. above C. 2 front sway bar (anti-roll bar) links (these are apparently about 34 Euros each). The kit has one C spanner and one Bump adjuster tool. The rebound adjuster is like the Koni unit but I don't have the key for it, just use a plier or your fingers, it's easy enough to do. I paid 1200 pound + shipping + local tax for this kit and it was not in a bolt in and go condition. I have gone through quite a bit of aggravation with it and am feeling a bit let down right now. I will take 600 GBP for what's remaining + paypal fees (3%) + shipping (best if you can arrange on your end or if Alex (Karbonkid) can help out as my local retail pricing will be almost ridiculous). If you want to complete the kit I can put you in touch with Michael at KW Automotive to talk about it. PM or email aviemore.tom@xtra.co.nz Thanks. ps. I am located in Auckland 2014, New Zealand. Can provide plenty of International Trade references and local sale and purchase references if needed - I have a 100% positive trade record on both ebay and the likes. I am sure some of the forums members can vouch for my honesty and integrity. Will upload photos later on tonight when I get home to show what's remaining with the kit. p.s.s Brand new this kit would be close to 3000 euros with the spherical front and rear mounts.
